Dr. 富兰克林T. 哈金斯 is Professor of Historical Theology and Ordinarius教授 at the STM. 一个土生土长的北卡罗来纳人, he studied Psychology and Biology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (B.S., 1996) before attending Duke Divinity School. 在获得M之后.Div. at Duke (1999), he completed a Ph.D. in medieval theology at the University of Notre Dame (2005), writing a dissertation on Hugh of St. Victor under the direction of the late Rabbi Michael A. 签名者. 从2005年到2007年，博士. 哈金斯 held a Lilly Postdoctoral Teaching Fellowship at Valparaiso University with a joint appointment in Christ College (the honors college) and the Theology Department. In academic year 2010-11, Dr. 哈金斯 was a Mellon Fellow at the Pontifical Institute of Mediaeval Studies in Toronto, where he earned a Licentiate in Mediaeval Studies (2013) with a thesis entitled “An Introduction to Filiae magistri: Peter Lombard’s Sentences and Medieval Theological 教育 ‘on the Ground.’” Immediately prior to joining the Ecclesiastical 教师 at the STM, Dr. 哈金斯 was Reader in 中世纪的神学 at Durham University in the northeast of England (2013-15). 目前博士. 哈金斯 is the President of the International Albertus Magnus Society and President of the Society for the Study of the Bible in the Middle Ages. He is also co-editor of the Fordham Series in Medieval Studies (Fordham University Press) and serves on the editorial board of Victorine Texts in Translation (Brepols Publishers). Dr. 哈金斯 has recently been elected to a four-year term on the National Board of the Lilly Fellows Program in Humanities and the Arts.
